CBRE Belgium, the world leader in real estate services and investments, today launches its Office Calculator tool for office space occupiers. Linked to Propertyweb, CBRE Belgium's online real estate platform, Office Calculator immediately provides tenants with a list of properties that meet their criteria in order to optimise their real estate searches.
This tool, developed entirely in-house, allows corporate occupiers to obtain in just a few clicks a consistent estimate of the office space to be planned in order to optimally meet their needs in terms of space allocation, workstations and work areas, as well as meeting rooms and services present in the building.
Michaël Taelman, Senior Director & Head of Occupier Transaction Management at CBRE Belgium, explains: "As office space needs and trends are constantly evolving, we looked at the idea of a tool that could best meet the expectations of our clients in their searches. With Office Calculator, we want to make their real estate strategy as efficient and fast as possible, without neglecting the relational aspect for which our consultants play a key role".
Once the calculation has been carried out, the spatial estimate obtained and the geographical location filled in, the occupiers obtain a list of office properties corresponding to their criteria and present on Propertyweb. All they have to do now is contact the CBRE consultant in charge of the property for which they wish to obtain more information or organise a visit.
Kim Verdonck, Executive Director & Head of Research, Marketing & IT at CBRE Belgium, comments: "It seemed logical to us to combine Office Calculator with Propertyweb in order to create a coherent set of real estate tools for our clients. In addition to an estimate of the optimal office space to be foreseen and a list of relevant office properties, they can also, in some cases, take a virtual tour of the building with one of our consultants. This is a major advantage, especially when the decision-making centres are located outside Belgium or when travel is limited".
