The CBRE Retail team has recently been exclusively appointed to market the Ville 2 shopping center in Charleroi.
A new powerhouse has recently been established in the City 2 complex. For the opening of its 11th store, FNAC has chosen a surface of ± 1,100 sqm located on the ground floor of the shopping center. The retailer will occupy the space as from early November.
For its first opening in Wallonia, Atelier Rebul, a brand specialized in perfumes and skincare since 1895, has opted for a commercial surface of 40 sqm within the complex.
Other brands such as Superdry, Parfois (Portuguese brand of fashion accessories for women), ShopforGeek (t-shirts, figurines and wall decorations for geeks) and Candybar were also advised by CBRE as part of the search and opening of their commercial spaces located in the shopping center Ville 2 in Charleroi.
Many negotiations are also underway with national and international retailers.
Ville 2 was the first shopping center to open its doors in the province of Hainaut in 1990, and has undergone a renovation and extension in 2012. With no less than 120 stores, 14 restaurants and a 14-screen Pathé cinema, the complex attracts 4 million of visitors yearly. Ville 2 is spread over two levels, with one level exclusively dedicated to eating points. Major brands have already established themselves or are planning to settle there, such as Galler, H&M, C&A, Esprit or Superdry.
